The following demonstrations are just a sample of the many solutions that HPS can offer. HPS custom design and manufacture client specific Pigging solutions for more complexed multi-source / multi-destination applications.
Single Pig System Demonstration
Click on the following image to view a demo of a typical Single Pig System. This will demonstrate a fully automatic system using a 3 Way 120° Pig Launch Ball Valve with the pig being propelled throught the pipe using a compressed gas. The Pig recovers product into the Filler, Storage Tank or Tanker that normally would be wasted. For sanitary / hygienic applications HPS CIP Ball Valve technology can be used. Click on the 3 Way Ball Valve where indicated to view operation of HPS Inflatable Seal Technology during Pigging, Washout, Santization or CIP.
Tank Select Pigging System Demonstration
Click on the following image to view a demo of a Tank Select Pigging System. This will demonstrate a similar Launching System to the Single Pig System, using a 3 Way 120° Pig Launch Ball Valve. However, this demonstration shows how it is possible to use the Pigging System to select and Pig any one of multiple tank destinations with a single pipe. Click on the 3 Way Ball Valve and the 2 Way Ball Valve where indicated to view operation of HPS Inflatable Seal Technology during Pigging, Washout, Santization or CIP.
Double Pigging System Demonstration
Click on the following image to view a demo of a Double Pigging System. This will demonstrate a similar Launching System to the Single Pig System, using a 3 Way 120° Pig Launch Ball Valve. However, this demostration shows how it is possible to use a second Pig in the system to help prevent against product FOAMING/AERATION at transfer start up that can be experienced in some shampoos, soaps or detergent cleaners etc.... This type of system can also help prevent OXYGEN PICKUP at transfer start up of products such as wine.
