Are you a talented Sales Engineer with experience in Liquid Processing?

HPS Product Recovery Solutions is a growing company. technical sales engineer USAAs part of our expansion in North America, we’re actively recruiting a high caliber Sales Engineer to join our team and help grow our project sales. These are mainly around liquid transfer and sanitary pigging systems in the US.

Highly technically competent, you’ll be able to provide innovative solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations, while having a strong customer focus and outstanding sales skills. As well as helping to grow our US customer base, you’ll also manage client relationships.

We’re flexible on location because you’ll be traveling extensively within the US.  However, it would be convenient if you’re based in the North East states, as that’s where many of our existing and potential clients are situated.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

It’s essential that you have experience in liquid processing engineering, having either worked in such environments or sold solutions to clients in those industries. Typically we’re expecting our Sales Engineer applicants to have experience in food or beverage processing, cosmetics, personal care, household goods, paint or similar.

Your formal qualifications will include a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering (process or industrial), or equivalent. Ideally, you’ll be familiar with plant configurations including valve and pipeline routing within liquid processing systems.

To complement your proven and successful B2B sales and customer service record, you’ll have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.  With strong business acumen, you’ll thrive on consultative selling, and present a full understanding of value-based selling. It’s critical that you can represent a technical solution for manufacturing operations at all levels.

Above all, you’ll be able to recognize and convert leads and opportunities into sales.

Key Responsibilities

Supported by the VP Sales – North America, Group Sales Manager, and Group Marketing Manager, you’ll work with and develop high-level contact relationships with targeted accounts and clients. You’ll have regular face-to-face interaction with key customers, and achieve sales and gross margin targets as determined by the Board.

From initiating sales meetings and preparing quality sales proposals, to providing technical input to the VP of Sales and attending trade shows, you’ll be able to act independently as well as working in an international team environment.

Keeping track of key customers and industry trends that could affect market growth, you’ll develop strong client relationships. You’ll adhere to the company’s processes and provide regular reports and updates on your activities and achievements, including progress against your targets and goals.

As well as regular travel within the US, occasionally you’ll need to travel to the UK.
