Nestle Purina is one of the world’s leading pet food manufacturers. HPS installed a product distribution Rotomatrix to improve operational efficiency. The Rotomatrix has 8 arms and 9 connections. This allows a range of pet foods to be transferred from any of the tanks to any of the 9 fillers.
Each of the launch areas use a 3-way valve, which enables unrestricted product flow during a product transfer. This then rotates to introduce the pig into the line. HPS has also installed separate single pig systems.
