How Much Product Are You Washing Away?
When a product transfer finishes, the pipeline is rarely empty. Residual product remains inside the pipe and, without a product recovery system, much of it is flushed away during cleaning.
The loss from one transfer might not seem significant. But multiply it across every batch, changeover and production line, and it quickly becomes a costly problem.
HPS hygienic systèmes de raclage recover this product by sending a specially designed projectile (a “pig”) through the pipeline. Depending on the application, up to 99.5% of residual product can be recovered and directed to its intended destination.
That means more product available for sale, less waste to deal with and less time, water and chemicals needed for cleaning.
