As well as delivering high-quality pigging products and solutions, there’s very much a human side to HPS as well! Here’s a quick look at some of the things that have happened at HPS over the past couple of weeks.
Staff Show off their Baking Skills for Macmillan Coffee Morning
HPS UK staff recently had the chance to demonstrate their baking skills for Macmillan Coffee Morning.
The ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ is an annual event, and is in fact Macmillan’s largest fundraising event. It involves individuals and businesses all over the country hosting a morning of coffee and cake to help raise money to support people facing cancer. Last year alone, the initiative raised a staggering £29.5 million.
HPS Staff Battle It Out for Prize of Star Baker
HPS’s Coffee Morning was held at the UK head office in Nottingham, UK. Employees donated generously to this very worthy cause by contributing delicious cakes and sweet treats, plus a monetary donation. There were a variety of cakes available including chocolate brownies, Victoria sponge, chocolate cake, toffee cake, cupcakes, cheesecake and flapjacks galore.
We also had some fun competitions, including ‘The HPS Bake-Off’, which involved HPS staff battling it out in a ‘bake off’ to see who was the best baker. Congratulations to Marie, Customer Care Manager who was awarded the ‘Star Baker Award’ with her Victoria Sponge.
It was a fun-packed day, and our main agenda, of course, was to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support. HPS would like to thank all staff for their support and the amazing effort that went into baking the cakes – we managed to raise over £200, which is great!
Strategy to Increase Growth Still on Track
So, as well as battling it out for the ‘Best Baker Award’, what else has been going on at HPS?
The popularity of our pigging solutions continues to grow, as more and more companies realise the significant benefits of pigging. HPS lead the process pigging market with our high-quality solutions and unmatched service and customer care. We continue to secure new pigging system projects with new clients as well as existing customers wanting to extend the scope of their current projects, or rolling out pigging solutions to new sites.
We look forward to establishing a long-term relationship with these new customers, as well as continuing to improve the productivity and efficiency of our existing customer base.
