Pigging systems send a special projectile (a ‘pig‘) through your pipelines. This recovers nearly all residual liquid product rather than sending it to waste. HPS’s unique, food grade pigs are made from FDA approved materials, can travel around 1.5 D bends and safely recover up to 99.5% of product. Pigging systems are usually automated, so HPS pigs are bi-directional and fully detectable. When not in use, pigs are stored offline in special launch or receive housings.
