Maintenance Plans for Hygienic (Sanitary) Pigging Systems
Preventative planned maintenance ensures the smooth running of your pigging system and equipment. This means less downtime, increased yield and an increase in productivity.
HPS maintenance programmes are designed around your requirements tailored exactly to suit you. HPS engineers will visit your site on agreed schedules and perform vital maintenance on your pigging equipment. This can include, for example, replacing serviceable parts, re-calibrating pig detectors and ensuring that the equipment is running efficiently.
Software for Hygienic (Sanitary) Pigging Systems
Nearly all HPS pigging system are automated. So we also offer software support contracts to help you deal with any unforeseen downtime. These include telephone support, dialling into the PLC over the internet or if required, visiting your to solve the problem.
Pigging system training
Pigging system training is is essential to attain maximum performance of your hygienic and sanitary pigging equipment. If you’re a new HPS customer, or deploying a new HPS solution, we’ll provide you and your staff with all the training you need when we commission your system.
We also offer refresher training as well as training for new staff. By using HPS to deliver training, you can have peace of mind that you’ll receive best practice and fully comprehensive instruction from highly experienced engineers.

From how to check your pig to how to change a seal on a valve, these maintenance videos provide step-by-step instructions as well as useful hints, tips and techniques on pigging system maintenance and servicing. We also regularly ask our customers if they’ve got any requests for future videos.

Ordering spare parts for your pigging system is easy with HPS. We strongly recommend you keep a variety of spare parts in stock. We carry most spares in stock and will ship your spare pigs, pig detectors and other components as quickly as possible. If we have the items in stock, we always aim for same day dispatch.
