How HPS Will Work
We use a tried and tested process to ensure the success of your pigging, product recovery or liquid transfer project, from start to finish, and beyond!
So when you work with HPS, you know your project will run smoothly.
Our experts will be on-hand every step of the way. Here’s how our process works.
Step 1 – We develop a full understanding of your problem
Do you need higher product yields? Or maybe you want to increase production capacity? Or to reduce you water consumption, use less cleaning chemicals, cut your waste disposal costs, or perhaps increase your operational efficiency through faster changeovers.
Whatever process problem you have, when you contact HPS, we’ll begin by asking you some questions to help us fully understand your issues. We’ll get started on helping you solve them straight away.
STEP 2 – YOUR CURRENT SITUATION
We need to find out about the plant and equipment you already have in place, so we’ll ask you a few things about your current set up (or the system you’re getting built).
We’ll ask you for basic information such as your pipeline specifications, details of the products you work with, and a P&ID or system diagram if you have one.
STEP 3 – OUR SYSTEM DESIGN TEAM GETS STARTED
When we’ve got a basic understanding of your what you want to achieve, and your current set up, our system design team will start work on a solution to solve your problem. We will consult with you closely during this step.
STEP 4 – WE PRESENT YOUR SOLUTION.
We’ll provide a solution design along with details of how it will achieve your goals, the equipment and how it works, the services we’ll provide, and everything else in between.
We’ll also give you an estimate of how much you will save, your ROI and how fast your project will pay for itself. We’ll usually present this as a formal proposal and go through it with you, highlighting the important points and answering any questions you might have.
STEP 5 – WE GET EVERYTHING READY FOR YOU. We start producing your equipment, software, documentation, training and commissioning schedules.
At each stage of the process, we’ll keep you informed of progress so you are prepared and ready for your delivery date.
STEP 6 – GET READY FOR YOUR PIGGING EQUIPMENT!
If you have a turnkey project with us, we will arrange installation for you. Or, you might prefer to use your own staff or installation company.
Either way, we’ll work closely with you to ensure that installation is simple and accurate.
STEP 7 – WE COMMISSION YOUR SYSTEM AND GET YOU STARTED
Once your pigging system equipment and software is installed, HPS engineers will commission it. In other words, we get you up and running. We make sure everything is working properly, efficiently and safely before you start using it in production. We’ll also train your staff how to use it properly.
STEP 8 – OUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM TAKES OVER
After you’re up and running, our customer support team will be in touch. They’re dedicated to your ongoing satisfaction, and provide help, advice, and a wide range of practical aftersales services. These include arranging system health checks, training for new staff, providing advice on preventative maintenance programmes, software updates or ordering spares.
