Silence Speaks! HPS Employee Stays Silent…

Jodie is Keeping Quiet for a Great Reason!Silence Speaks - Jodie

On Friday 19th June 2015, Jodie Rudkin, Customer Support Administrator at HPS UK Offices, is planning not to speak for at least 48 hours. Anyone that knows Jodie will realize what an incredible feat of willpower this will be!

What’s more, with enough encouragement, she’s aiming not break her silence right through to Father’s Day – a total of 72 hours.

Why Is Jodie Doing This?

Jodie is helping build awareness of Motor Neurone Disease (MND), and raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The reason behind the silence is the impact this debilitating and currently incurable condition had on a very close relative of Jodie’s. Soon after doctors first identified the condition, Jodie’s relative lost the ability to speak. Between 80 and 95 per cent of people with MND develop speech impairment over the course of their illness. Tragically 15 months after diagnosis Jodie’s close relative passed away.

You Can Help!

HPS will be making a corporate donation towards Jodie’s silence, matching pound for pound the amount she raises. So each pound you donate will count as two!

To find out more and to make a donation, please visit Jodie’s Just Giving webpage at

JustGiving sends your donation straight to Motor Neurone Disease Association and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more.
